Born in March 2015, Glitterbomb Denton has presented more than 150 shows featuring incredible talent from across North Texas and around the world. Our weekly events are hosted at Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios in Denton, Texas!

New Themes, Dance Parties and More!

Featuring new themes every week, with our lovely cast and crew of resident artists, this show will keep you on the edge of your seat. Every Thursday, join us for drinks, dancing, contests, and the very best drag, burlesque, queerlesque, sideshow, magic, and musical talent Denton has to offer. Our shows start at 9pm, then stick around afterwards to see DJ Mayo Boy playing your favorite songs upon request at our 11pm dance party.

Our Goals

At Glitterbomb, we welcome performers and audience members who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual, intersex, questioning, gender non-conforming, and straight allies, aged 18+! Glitterbomb aims to be a safer space for our cast, crew, audiences, and communities. Performances or presentations which include cultural appropriation, racism, sexism, or other themes of oppression and marginalization will not be presented on our stage. However, cultural exchange and reflection, social critique, and artistic explorations of difficult topics are encouraged. Performers exploring potentially controversial topics will be encouraged to release artist statements about their work.

At Glitterbomb, we take pride in producing a high-quality show each week, while making sure we have space for new and emerging performers. Our audiences are supportive and enthusiastic, and our performers love to spend time hanging out at the bar after the show, so don’t wait! See you next Thursday!
